Albany-Bernard J. Fisher, age, 100 years passed away Saturday March 24, 2012. He was born in Albany and lived in the city for most of his life. The Montgomery Ward Co. in Menands employed Bernard for many years. He was a US Army veteran of WW II serving in the Panama Canal Zone and was a member of the VFW.
Cousin of Joseph (Teresa) Alber and the late William and John Alber. Also survived by several other cousins.
Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 PM. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery,
