Margaret M. "Peggy" Mink
Mink, Margaret Mary

RENSSELAER-Margaret “Peggy” Mink, 70, Beloved Daughter, Sister, Cousin and Friend passed away peacefully at The Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital with her loving family by her side on Friday, September 20, 2018. She was born on July 15th, 1948 in Albany, NY and was the loving daughter of the late Timothy Dailey Mink and Elizabeth Venter. She was raised in Rensselaer, NY and graduated from St. John’s Academy Class of 1966. Peggy worked for the NYS Department of Health for 40 years and after her retirement from the State she went on to work for the Rensselaer City Clerk’s Office for 10 years.

Peggy was a fun-loving, generous and kind person. She was always the life of the party and filled every room she entered with endless love, laughter and song. Peggy loved spending time with her brother, George, and her family on Kinderhook Lake. She enjoyed vacationing in Cape Cod every September with her second family the Nardacci’s. She also loved going to lunch with her friends from the Health Department and her friends from SJA.

She will be missed by all who knew her. Peggy is survived by her loving brother George and her cousins Mary Pat Pulver (Larry), Kathleen Mink-Lescault (Spike), Joanne Hughes (Joseph), Fred Mink (Tami), Barbara Forgea (George), Jeanne Olson, Barbara Quinn, Marsha Venter (Rudy). She is also survived by many dear friends, especially Rosemary(Mame) Brahm, Cheryl (Cookie) Saulpaugh, Josie Rapisarda, Geraldine (Mom #2), Kathy, Sissy, Jackie and Maureen Nardacci. Peggy was Godmother to Peter Brahm, Larry Pulver and Kaiti Saulpaugh.

The family would like to thank the wonderful care-givers at The Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital. We would also like to thank Dr. Mary Ellen Drislane for her compassionate care for the last 25 years.
