Rensselaer- Domenico Verrelli of Rensselaer, NY died on August 14, 2010. He
was born on July 18, 1917 in Ripi, Italy. On June 23, 1951 he came to
America. He worked for the New York Central Rail Road, Barnets Mill, and as
a construction laborer, Mason Tender, and a barber at the Old Ten Eyck
Hotel; all the while working nights at Albany Felt Company from which he
retired in 1982. He is survived by his loving wife Agata of 64 years; and
his children Lino (Tina) of Slingerlands and Mary Gloria (Gino) Curenti of
Loudonville. Also his five grandchildren; David (Victoria), Adriana, Leeana
(Dave Tete) Verrelli and Gina and Salvatore Curenti. Also survived by two
great grandchildren Vincent and Leo Verrelli. The family would like to
thank all our family and friends, Rensselaer County Hospice and Father Adam
Forno for all their help, support and prayers. Funeral from the W.J. Jr.
Lyons Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Thursday at 9:30 and
10:30 at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Church Rensselaer where the
Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered. Relatives and
friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
