Life Story for Rita A. Maskell (Nuzzi)

North Greenbush-Rita A. Nuzzi Maskell, age, 82 years of North Greenbush passed away Saturday January 10, 2015 at Van Rensselaer Manor. She was born in Albany and has lived in North Greenbush for 47 years. Rita was employed as an assembly worker at Sterling Drug Co. in Rensselaer.
Daughter of the late Vito and Elizabeth Nuzzi; beloved wife of the late “Uncle” Larry Maskell; sister of Jessie Nuzzi and the late Ralph Nuzzi, Mary Nuzzi Lourinia, Margaret Nuzzi Lourinia, Tony Nuzzi and Nicholas Nuzzi. Rita is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and godchildren.
Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Friday morning at 10:00. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Van Rensselaer Manor Van Fund 85 Bloomingrove Drive Troy, NY 12180.
