Obituary for Georgianna M. DeWitt

Rensselaer- Georgianna M. DeWitt age 91 passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Rosewood Gardens. Georgianna was born in Brattleboro, VT and has resided in Rensselaer for over 45 years. She worked for and retired from Williams Press in Menands. After retirement she was a dedicated homemaker. Wife of the late John H. DeWitt, Jr. Mother of John H. (Christine) DeWitt, III, Kenneth W. (Linda) DeWitt, and the late Patsy, Dorothy and Anita. Also survived by family friend and caregiver for the past year and a half Theresa Dodge and by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Wednesday morning at 11:00. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Contributions in her memory may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer County 295 Valley View Blvd. Rensselaer, NY 12144.
