Dorothy H.  Restifo (Orloff)
Loudonville-Dorothy H. Orloff Restifo, age 91 years, of Loudonville formerly of North Greenbush passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Mrs. Restifo was born in Albany and lived many years in North Greenbush, before moving to Loudonville Adult Home for assisted living. She was employed as a bank teller for Key Bank for many years. While living in North Greenbush, Mrs. Restifo was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Rensselaer and as a parishioner was a member of the church bowling league and Rosary Altar Society. Dorothy was also an active member of the Rensselaer Senior Citizens.
Wife of Philip Restifo of Loudonville; daughter of the late Leon and Estelle Tatko Orloff; mother of Patricia (Dr. Michael) Kane of Loudonville and Joanne Judd of Clifton Park; grandmother of Alexandra Henzel, Aimee (Christopher) Frering, Michael (Leyla) Kane, Kimberly Judd, Stacie (Dustin) Morris, Brendan (Emily) Kane and Leanne (Matthew) Stillitano; great-grandmother of Julia Kane, Philip Pastiglione, Zachary Henzel, Reed Kane, Noah Stillitano, Stella Pastiglione, Mila Morris, Roen Kane, Anderson Kane, Keegan Frering and Mason Stillitano; sister-in-law of Ann Restifo, she was predeceased by several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Saturday morning at 9:30 and 10:30 at St. Francis of Assisi Church south end of Albany formerly known as St. John-St. Ann’s Church where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Contributions in her memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Pine West Plaza Building 4 Suite 405 Albany, NY 12205 or to the Food Pantry of St. John St. Ann’s Church 88 4th Avenue Albany, NY 12202.
