Condolence From: Barbara Carr & Joyce Fonda

Condolence: Vera lived at Coburg Village during the years that we lived there. We became very dear friends with her and when we left Coburg we unfortunately lost touch. We so enjoyed her joy, gentle warmth, graciousness and generosity . . . a true lady.

The story of her life was amazing and awesome and we, as did all at Coburg shared her joy in the honor from the Queen acknowledging her service.

To read of her death at age 100 was shocking as we often wondered about her through these recent years. We attempted to attend Vera's wake but sadly went a day too soon and cannot go today. May she rest in peace . . . a life beautifully served.
