Jennie E. Lundstrom
Rensselaer-Jennie E. Lundstrom of Forbes Avenue age 91 years, (formerly of Troy, NY), wife of the late James J. Lundstrom went to heaven to be with her beloved on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was sister to the late Fred Van Vorst, Bertha Myers-Buchmann (Frank), Warren Van Vorst and her “baby brother” William Smith. She is survived by her children Walter E. Lundstrom (Libby Stone), Gail Lundstrom (Willie McCall), Dawn Rose, James B. Lundstrom (Danielle), John Matthews, Marie Burdock (Jim), her beloved feline Sebastian and many friends whose lives she touched. She was an avid sports fan and loved her NY Giants. What gave her most joy and happiness was her grand and great-grandchildren, she was known to them as “Mommy” or “Gram”; Les Frierson (Tauasha), Damion Frierson, Sidney Frierson (Vicky), Megan Rose, Brian Rose (Katie), Samantha Lundstrom, Andre Lundstrom, Amiee Ray, Lisa and the late Branden Lundstrom,; great-grandchildren Christopher, John, Erin, Jeremy, Taulie, Shalie, Naman, Lalie, Denasia Gianna, Julianna, Gabriella, Zachary, William, Jonathan, Anna Lynn, Lillie Mae, Hailee, Brian; great-grandchild Zyair.
She loved attending all their events, (no matter what) and was their biggest fan and supporter all the way thru college graduations. “She is our rock” She is also survived by many nieces and nephews from Rhode Island and Massachusetts; Eddie, Patricia, Lorraine, Tommy, Mary, Jane, Harriet, Barbara, Levy, JoAnn, Bob, Susan, Steve, Wally, Judy and their families. We love and will forever miss you mom, but we take comfort that you are finally home with dad.
