Kathryn M.  Wilcox
Snyder’s Lake-Kathryn M. Wilcox age, 67 years, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016. She was born in Albany and has been a resident of Snyder’s Lake for over 50 years. Kathryn retired from the New York State Archive Dept. She was a longtime Parishioner and Eucharistic Minister of The Church of St. Jude the Apostle in Wynantskill. Kathryn was member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 1489 in Wynantskill. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed sewing, doing arts and crafts and loved dancing and Elvis Presley.
Wife of the late Merritt Wilcox; mother of Necole (Chip) Good and Jesse Wilcox; grandmother of Dakota, Elijah and Jessie Wilcox, Riley, Aidan and Payton Good; sister of Mark Ray and the late Edward Ray. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
A funeral mass honoring Kathryn and her late husband Merritt will be held at the Church of St. Jude Apostle Brookside Avenue Wynantskill Tuesday morning at 9:30. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Monday from 4-7 pm. Contributions in her memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association Northeastern New York 4 Pine West Plaza, Suite 405, Albany, NY 12205.
