Watervliet- Thomas S. Kasky age 63 of Watervliet passed away on Tuesday August 9, 2016. He was born in Albany and lived most of his life in Rensselaer before moving to Florida and then to Watervliet a few years ago. Tom was a self employed truck driver and tended bar at the Melvin Roads American Legion Post in East Greenbush. He was a member of Rensselaer Council #267 K of C and enjoyed hunting, fishing, OTB, playing his guitar, concerts in the park in Rensselaer and helping people when they needed help.
Husband of the late Bette Ann Kasky. Son of the late Phillip and Elizabeth Kasky. Brother of Richard Kasky of Clifton Park and the late Elizabeth Houle, Robert Kasky, John Kasky and Phillip Kasky.
Funeral from the Lyons Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Friday at 12:00 noon. Calling hours prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Interment in Calvary Cemetery Glenmont. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue Albany, NY 12204.
