Life Story for Maude E. Maloney (Gailor)

East Greenbush- Maude E. Gailor Maloney age 75 of East Greenbush passed away on Wednesday December 7, 2016. She was born in Saratoga Springs and has lived in Rensselaer for over 30 years before moving to East Greenbush 12 years ago. Maude was a Licensed Practical Nurse working for Central Nursing Service. She enjoyed baking and after retiring from nursing she became a baker at Wal-Mart. She was very charitable helping many organizations but one of her biggest joys was adopting a family at Christmas time providing gifts for all. She was a member of the Rensselaer Senior Center and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Melvin Roads American Legion Post.
Wife of George E. Maloney. Mother of David, Scott and Pauly Maloney. Grandmother of Pauly, Madeline and Marrisa. Sister of Fred, Fran, Margaret and Charlotte “Sug”. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Saturday morning at 10:00. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-7 PM. Interment will be at New Rural Cemetery East Greenbush. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
