Obituary for Linda M. Levings

Linda M. Levings
Linda (Fiacco) Levings, 70, of Rensselaer, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on February 11, 2017. Linda courageously battled muscular dystrophy for several years. Born April 19th, 1946, Linda was the daughter of the late Philip and Anna Fiacco, she was the most proud and loving mother of Kimberley Cimijotti (Jim) and Deanna Halacy (Dave), and the most doting grandmother of John Halacy, Vincent Cimijotti, Raymond (Jackie) Halacy, Alana Cimijotti and Mark Halacy. She is survived by her loving sisters, Sandra Fiacco of Rensselaer, Phyllis Fusco of East Greenbush and Carla Bakerian (Stephen) of Averill Park, her three nephews, Joseph Bent III, Ryan (Alyssa & Ava), Nicholas Bakerian, and her goddaughter Michele (David, Blake, Kyson, Brynn & Kyler) Benyo. Linda cherished her grandchildren, and enjoyed her family time; her family were the pride and joy and light of her life.

Linda graduated from St. John's Academy in 1964. Linda previously worked for Phoenix Life Insurance Company, retiring several years ago for medical reasons.

Linda was an avid bowler for many years in her youth, loved her trips to Las Vegas and there was never a Bingo game she wasn’t up for.

Family and friends are invited to share in her memory, Wednesday, February 15th, from 4:00-7:00 pm at W.J. Lyons Funeral Home with a service to follow at 7pm.

The family requests contributions may be made in Linda’s name to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. MDA https://www.mda.org
